1. What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, session storage) are small pieces of data stored in your browser. Panzoe uses them sparingly and transparently.
2. Categories we use
- Essential — required for the platform to function: secure session cookies for authentication, CSRF protection and workspace selection. These cannot be disabled.
- Functional — remember your preferences such as theme, sidebar state, selected views and cookie consent choices.
- Analytics — used with your consent. In-app product analytics are first-party. On our website, Google Analytics (cookies _ga, _ga_*; IP anonymisation enabled) and PostHog (ph_* storage; session replay with all text and inputs masked) load only after you choose "Accept" or enable Analytics under "Manage" in the cookie banner. If you choose "Essential", no analytics tags load. These tags are never used inside our mobile apps. You can change your choice anytime in Settings → Privacy & data → Cookie preferences.
- Preference — store non-essential personalisation such as dismissed banners and onboarding progress.
- Advertising measurement — used only with your separate advertising consent ("Accept" or the Advertising toggle under "Manage"). Currently: Google Ads conversion measurement (cookies _gcl_*) and Meta Pixel (cookies _fbp, _fbc), paired with server-side conversion reporting (Meta Conversions API; Google Analytics Measurement Protocol) that carries the same event identifiers so events are counted once. Prepared but inactive until we advertise there: LinkedIn Insight Tag (li_fat_id, lidc), Reddit Pixel (_rdt_uuid), Microsoft Advertising UET (_uetsid, _uetvid) and X Pixel (muc_ads); each is governed by the same advertising choice and this policy will list it as active before it is enabled. Choosing Analytics only never enables advertising cookies.
- Attribution identifiers — if you arrive from an advert, we keep the click identifier from the link (for example gclid, fbclid, li_fat_id, msclkid, rdt_cid, twclid) in your browser's local storage so that a later registration or purchase can be attributed to that campaign. It is only transmitted to the advertising platform if you have granted advertising consent.
3. Managing cookies
You can manage non-essential cookies through the consent banner shown on your first visit (Accept, Essential, or Manage to choose analytics and advertising separately — your choice is remembered), at any time in Settings → Privacy & data → Cookie preferences (changing or withdrawing a choice stops the related tags immediately), and through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in.
4. Consent
Where required by law (including the EEA and UK), non-essential cookies are set only after you consent via the banner; analytics and advertising are separate choices and neither is implied by the other. Google tags honour your choices through Google Consent Mode v2 (analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization); when you decline, Google tags are not loaded at all. You may withdraw consent at any time in Settings → Privacy & data, or by clearing site data in your browser, after which the banner will appear again.
